Cake Delivery Singapore: Free Over $180, Two Fixed Windows, Fees Published
Tings Bakery has been running cake delivery across Singapore since 2019, from our own SFA-licensed kitchen at The Adelphi in City Hall. Everything on this page is published rather than quoted on request: the fee, the free-delivery threshold, the restricted zones, the cut-offs, and what happens if nobody is home. We deliver seven days a week in two fixed windows, and collection from our City Hall shop is always free.

Why Singapore Customers Choose Tings for Cake Delivery
Free Islandwide Over $180
Below that it is a flat $20. No per-kilometre pricing, no surge pricing, and no separate charge for choosing one window over the other.
Two Fixed Windows, Seven Days a Week
12pm to 3pm or 3pm to 6pm. We give you a window we can hold rather than a time we cannot.
The Delivery-Day Policy Is Published
Our driver waits ten minutes and then calls. A redelivery costs $30. Check the cake at the door. All of it is on this page rather than discovered the hard way.
We Deliver What a Shelf-Stock Bakery Cannot
A money pulling mechanism, a bomb shell, a pinata dome or a hand-built 3D topper does not survive being stacked in an insulated bag with someone’s noodles. Fixed windows and our own handling are what get a built cake to a table intact.
Honest About Same-Day
Selected designs from our existing collection can go same-day or next-day subject to slots. Anything custom cannot, and we will say so rather than take the order and hope.
Free Collection at City Hall
#B1-20 The Adelphi, 1 Coleman Street, two minutes from City Hall MRT Exit B, with a pre-arranged pickup slot.

Delivery Time Slots
We deliver in two windows, seven days a week: 12pm to 3pm or 3pm to 6pm.
Allow an hour either side. Deliveries are batched and routes vary with traffic, so we do not promise a fixed minute and we do not provide live dispatch tracking.
Which window to book:
| Your event | Book |
|---|---|
| A children’s party or a lunch | 12pm to 3pm |
| An afternoon tea or a first birthday around a nap | 12pm to 3pm |
| An evening dinner or a party from 7pm | 3pm to 6pm |
| A restaurant booking in the evening | 3pm to 6pm, with a venue contact |
| An office celebration | 12pm to 3pm, with a reception contact |
Where We Deliver
Islandwide, including HDB blocks, condominiums, landed homes, offices, hotels, function halls, restaurants and hospitals.
Restricted areas. Sentosa, Changi, Tuas and Jurong Island carry an additional $15 because of access restrictions and travel time. That is the full list. Everywhere else on the island is standard, with no per-kilometre pricing.
Venue delivery. For a restaurant, a hotel ballroom or a condo function room, give us the venue name, the full address and a contact person there. Most venues will receive and chill a cake for an evening booking if they know it is coming, and we will coordinate that with them.
Offices. Nominate a reception contact. Our driver waits ten minutes and then calls, and reception is more reliable than an individual desk.
Hospitals. We deliver, and we would suggest checking the ward’s own policy on food and flowers first.
Same-Day and Next-Day Cake Delivery
The honest version, because this is where most cake delivery pages overpromise.
What we can do same-day or next-day. Selected designs from our existing collection, subject to available slots. Message us on +65 9169 9195 with your date and postal code and we will tell you straight away whether a slot is open.
What we cannot do same-day. Anything custom. A money pulling mechanism, a bomb shell, a pinata cavity, a burnaway layer or a hand-built 3D shape is made from scratch for you, and it needs at least a day, usually more.
We are not a shelf-stock bakery, so we will not pretend we can put a cake at your door in two hours. What we can do that a shelf-stock bakery cannot is make you something nobody else has, and we are usually faster at that than people expect. Urgent 1 to 2 day turnarounds on selected designs are often possible for an additional charge.
Lead Times by Cake Type
| Cake type | Lead time |
|---|---|
| Standard designs from our collection | 3 to 5 days |
| Fully custom designs, or anything with a 3D structure | 5 to 7 days |
| Money pulling, explosion bomb, pinata or burnaway | About a week |
| Corporate cakes with edible logo printing | About a month |
| Wedding cakes | A month where possible |
| Urgent, selected designs only | 1 to 2 days, additional charge, subject to slots |
What Happens on Delivery Day
Someone needs to be there. Our driver waits up to ten minutes and then calls you. If nobody can receive the cake, a redelivery costs $30, and a redelivery or a switch to collection has to happen within one day so the cake is still fresh when it arrives.
Check the cake at the door. If anything has gone wrong in transit, tell us immediately with a photo and we will arrange a replacement. Once a cake has been signed for and accepted we cannot verify what happened to it afterwards, so the thirty seconds at the door are what protect you.
Chill it as soon as it arrives. Cream-based cakes need to go in the fridge, and cream cakes with fondant decorations do too. Only fully fondant-covered cakes should stay out, in a cool air-conditioned room. Eat the cake within two days.
If you are not going to be home, tell us at order stage and we will suggest a delivery window that works, or arrange collection instead.
If the cake has a mechanism, read the instructions before the moment rather than during it. A pinata needs 30 minutes out of the fridge; a money pull needs a gentle straight-upward pull; a bomb shell needs a metre of clearance and a long-necked lighter.
Online Cake Delivery Singapore: How to Order
Ordering online cake delivery singapore wide takes two things: a date and a design.
Browse and order from the site. Over 800 designs, with the price shown on each. Choose your flavour, size, message and delivery window at checkout.
Or send a photo on WhatsApp. Most of our orders start this way. Send the photo, your date, your postal code and a rough headcount to +65 9169 9195 and we will quote you.
Payment. Full payment secures the slot, because a date is not held until payment is received. PayNow to UEN 53394429E. We do not accept cash on delivery.
Cancellation. Once an order is confirmed we do not offer cancellations or refunds, though we can usually postpone to another date subject to availability.
Custom Cake Delivery
Most of what we deliver is not on any shelf. It was designed for one event, made this week, and it exists once.
That changes how it travels, and it is why our custom cake delivery works the way it does. A cake with a money pulling mechanism, a hand-built 3D topper or a chocolate dome does not survive being stacked in an insulated bag with someone’s noodles. Fixed windows and our own handling are what get a built cake to a table intact.
If you are ordering a customised cake for a date that matters, tell us the date first and the design second. See Customise Your Own Cake.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is cake delivery in Singapore?
Delivery is free islandwide on orders above $180, and a flat $20 below that.
Sentosa, Changi, Tuas and Jurong Island carry an additional $15 because of access restrictions. Collection from our City Hall shop is always free. There is no per-kilometre pricing and no surge pricing.
Do you do same-day cake delivery in Singapore?
On selected designs from our existing collection, subject to available slots.
Custom cakes cannot be same-day. Anything with a mechanism or a hand-built structure is made from scratch and needs at least a day. Message us on +65 9169 9195 with your date and postal code and we will tell you straight away whether a slot is open.
What are your delivery time slots?
Two windows, seven days a week: 12pm to 3pm and 3pm to 6pm.
Allow an hour either side, because deliveries are batched and routes vary with traffic. Book the earlier window for a lunch or a children’s party, and the later window for an evening event.
Can you deliver at an exact time?
No. We deliver in a three-hour window rather than at a fixed time.
Routes are batched and Singapore traffic is not predictable, so we give you a window we can hold rather than a time we cannot. We also do not provide live dispatch tracking. If your event starts in the evening, book the 3pm to 6pm slot and have someone there to receive it.
Where do you deliver?
Islandwide, including HDB blocks, condominiums, landed homes, offices, hotels, function halls, restaurants and hospitals.
Sentosa, Changi, Tuas and Jurong Island are the only areas carrying a surcharge, at an additional $15. Everywhere else on the island is standard.
What happens if nobody is home?
Our driver waits up to ten minutes and then calls you.
If nobody can receive the cake, a redelivery costs $30, and it has to happen within one day so the cake is still fresh. If you know you will not be in, tell us at order stage and we will suggest a different window or arrange collection.
Can you deliver to a restaurant or a hotel?
Yes, and a lot of our cakes go to venues rather than homes.
Give us the venue name, the full address and a contact person there and we will coordinate the drop. Most venues will receive and chill a cake for an evening booking once they know it is coming. Tell the venue in advance if the cake involves a sparkler.
Can you deliver to an office?
Yes, and the 12pm to 3pm window usually works best.
Nominate a reception contact rather than an individual desk, because our driver waits ten minutes and then calls. For larger corporate orders, multi-office delivery or invoicing, see Corporate Cakes.
Do you deliver to hospitals?
Yes. We would suggest checking the ward’s own policy on food and flowers before ordering.
Give us the ward and a contact number, and book the window that fits visiting hours.
How far in advance do I need to order for delivery?
About a week for most designs.
Standard designs from our collection need 3 to 5 days, fully custom or 3D designs need 5 to 7, and corporate logo cakes need about a month. Urgent 1 to 2 day slots are often available on selected designs for an additional charge.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes, and it is free.
Collect from #B1-20 The Adelphi, 1 Coleman Street, two minutes from City Hall MRT Exit B. Monday to Saturday 12.30pm to 8.30pm, Sunday 12.30pm to 4.30pm. Pickup slots are pre-arranged so the cake is finished and chilled for your time.
Should I collect a custom cake rather than have it delivered?
Collect it if the cake is tall, two-tier, 3D sculpted, or has a pinata dome.
Those designs carry more transit risk than a flat piped cake, and collection removes the car journey entirely. It is free and it is what we would choose for our own order. Bring a flat boot space if you are driving.
How do you protect a cake with a mechanism in transit?
We handle custom cake delivery ourselves rather than through a third-party courier.
A cake with a money pulling mechanism, a hand-built 3D topper or a chocolate dome does not survive being stacked in an insulated bag alongside other orders. Fixed windows and our own handling are what get a built cake to a table intact.
What should I do if the cake arrives damaged?
Tell us immediately with a photo, before the cake is signed for and accepted.
We will arrange a replacement or a refund where the fault is ours. Once a cake has been accepted we cannot verify what happened to it afterwards, which is why the thirty seconds at the door matter.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
Full payment is required when you place the order, because a delivery slot is not held until payment is received.
We accept PayNow to UEN 53394429E and we do not accept cash on delivery. Once confirmed we do not offer cancellations or refunds, but we can usually postpone to another date subject to availability.
Do you provide live tracking for the delivery?
No. Routes are batched and vary with traffic, so we do not provide live dispatch updates.
You get a three-hour window instead, with an hour of tolerance either side. Our driver calls if nobody is there to receive the cake.
Which delivery window should I book?
The 12pm to 3pm window for a lunch, a children’s party or an office celebration, and 3pm to 6pm for an evening event.
If your party starts at 7pm or 8pm, book the later window and nominate someone at the venue. If the cake is going to a home with a nap schedule, book the earlier one.
How should I store the cake when it arrives?
Refrigerate cream-based cakes immediately, and eat the cake within two days.
Cream cakes with fondant decorations should go in the fridge too. Only fully fondant-covered cakes should be kept out, in a cool air-conditioned room, because condensation forms on fondant once it leaves the fridge. If your cake is a pinata, bring it out about 30 minutes before the smash.
