The sparkler is designed for indoor celebratory use and produces very little smoke, much like the ones used on birthday cakes in restaurants. It burns on the outside of a closed shell, so the casing shields the cake completely and no ash reaches it. When the shell opens, the cake is exactly as it left our kitchen.

The only fixed element is the shell, which comes in classic black. These are specialised plastic casings and we cannot recolour them, and the black is part of what makes the reveal read as a bomb. Everything inside the shell is yours to design.
