Yes, but you should inform the restaurant in advance. Most venues are happy to accommodate once they understand it involves a standard sparkler. Pre-informing staff helps ensure the reveal goes smoothly.

Is the bomb shell edible? Can I reuse it?

The shell is not edible. It is a durable, heat-resistant plastic casing. You can reuse it after washing, and many customers repurpose it as a storage box for small items like jewellery or keys.

The cake inside is a 6-inch round and typically serves 5 to 7 people. For larger groups or if you expect second servings, a second cake or larger size is recommended.

Can I choose the flavour and the design?

Can I hide a ring or a gift inside with the cake?

Free delivery applies for orders above $180, otherwise a $20 flat fee applies with two delivery windows. Additional charges apply for Sentosa, Changi, Tuas and Jurong Island. Are your cakes Halal?

Ting's Bakery is not officially Halal-certified, but operates under a Muslim-friendly standard with no pork, no lard, and no alcohol. All ingredients are Halal-sourced, and certification is in progress.

Can you make it less sweet, eggless or nut-free?

We do not offer dedicated eggless, vegan or nut-free cakes due to possible cross-contamination. Customers with severe allergies are advised to contact us before ordering so we can assess suitability.

How should I store it, and how long does it keep?

Keep the cake refrigerated until the reveal and consume within two days. After opening, refrigerate cream-based cakes immediately. The shell is not affected by room temperature.

Can I film the reveal? Any tips?

Yes. Start recording before lighting the sparkler as the reveal happens quickly. Film slightly from above to capture the opening effect clearly, and ensure the person filming is not also lighting the cake.
